Tickler NULL bug?

Peter Hutten-Czapski-2
I can't pin it down but my users occassionally create a tickler with a NULL date
Lord knows I cannot reproduce it

The Null of course nukes the ticklers for that patient
I have temporized with a trigger

BEGIN
        IF NEW.service_date IS NULL THEN
            SET NEW.service_date=CURDATE();
        END IF;
END

It keeps the system from choking on NULLS but doesn't really solve it

anyone else has insight?

Re: Tickler NULL bug?

I've seen that appear in our ticklers too, but have never been able to track down why and reproduce on demand.
